The Pound Ridge Fire Department held a blood drive, sponsored by the New York Blood Center, on Saturday, Nov. 1, at the firehouse, 80 Westchester Ave. Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones recently closed on the purchase of a new home in the estate area of Bedford, Daily Voice has confirmed. The southbound I-684 ramp for Route 172 in Bedford reopened after an overturned tractor-trailer resulted in its closure for about four hours Thursday.
