At its first meeting on the year on Tuesday, Jan. 6, the Bedford Town Board appointed a slew of volunteers to a series of municipal bodies. Planning Board Chairwoman Deirdre Courtney-Batson was reappointed to another five-year term, and Zoning Board of Appeals Chairman Peter Michaelis was also given another five-year stint.
