Brianna M. Maldonado, a 23-year-old Plattekill resident, was charged with driving while intoxicated on Interstate 684 by the New York state police in Somers on Sunday, Dec. 14, according to a release by the New York State police. Troopers who were patrolling I-684 in Bedford observed Maldonado's vehicle stopped on the northboundsholder of the interstate near mile post parker 13.7, the release said.
